emi's terms of service

The terms are here to explain things and keep them in order and under control, in order to avoid unnecessary stress and anxiety for you and me.With everything clear, I believe the process will be much more enjoyable and fun!Please, read them carefully :) 🌸

1. basics

  • The illustrations will be made in my style.

  • The prices shown are for personal use only.

  • Prices for commercial use will be discussed with the client after submission of the form.

  • Don’t use my art for AI or NFT.

2. google froms

  • Each form you submit will contain information for one illustration only. If you want to commission more than one illustration, please submit a new form.

  • After submitting, I’ll contact you via e-mail to confirm your order, ask questions, talk about any necessary adjustments and send you a link to the payment page.

3. references

  • References and descriptions are important to communicate your vision and avoid future misalignments.

  • Please, keep in mind that if you have a very specific vision, you’ll need more specific images and descriptions to have more control over the result.

  • When submitting your visual references, please name them according to what you want me to extract from each image.

4. payment

  • You may choose between paying 100% upfront or 50% upfront, then 50% after sketch confirmation.

  • International payments will be made through Ko-fi (PayPal), USD.

  • Pagamentos do Brasil serão feitos via Pix (assumir o valor de 4 reais para o dólar).

5. queue

  • Your commission will be added to the queue after you send me a proof of your payment.

  • Usually, I finish drawing in less than 10 business days once I start.

  • An extra fee may be charged in case you need your commission in less than 10 business days, depending on my workload and the complexity of your illustration.

6. drawing process & communication

  • We'll talk through e-mails :)

  • Please have in mind that the pacing of the illustration also depends on how fast we reply to our e-mails, which may influence in the 10 business days margin.

  • The process is usually divided in 3 stages: sketch, lineart & final.

  • In each stage of the process, I’ll ask you for a review and tell you what types of changes you can make. A 5 USD will be charged in case you choose to change something that should've been changed in the previous step.

  • You can make up to 3 changes for free in each step. If you wish to make more changes, a 3 USD fee will be charged per change.

7. cancellation

  • Cancelling refunds will vary according to where I am in the process.

  • Before I start sketching: full refund.

  • Through sketch stage (100% upfront payment): 50% refund.

  • Through sketch stage (50% upfront payment): no refund.

  • Once I start working on the next steps: no refund.

  • I may decline your request if it deviates too much from what I draw.

The items listed above are things that either I don't know how to draw or that I'm not confident at drawing, so there's a risk in requesting them.
If you need something from this list in your commission, an extra fee might be charged. The value will depend on the complexity and difficulty of your request.
